20ft Used Open Side Shipping Container – Full Side Access Corten Steel Storage Container
The 20ft Used Open Side Shipping Container is a versatile storage and transport container designed to provide full-length side access for loading oversized equipment, palletized goods, machinery, and commercial inventory. Constructed from heavy-duty Corten steel, this used container is supplied in Wind & Watertight (WWT) condition, making it suitable for secure outdoor storage and a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
Unlike a standard shipping container, this model features double cargo doors at one end and full-length double hinged doors along one side, providing unobstructed access to almost the entire length of the container. This design simplifies loading and unloading of bulky or oversized items and allows easy access to stored goods without moving other contents.
The container is fitted with 28mm marine-grade plywood flooring supported by steel cross members, providing a strong and durable surface suitable for heavy equipment and palletized cargo. Eight factory-installed air vents help improve airflow and reduce condensation, while two locking bars on each door enhance security.
Integrated forklift pockets on both sides and standard ISO corner castings allow the container to be easily lifted, transported, stacked, and repositioned using conventional container handling equipment.
As a CSC plated container with a maximum gross weight rating of 24 tonnes, it is suitable for storage and, where certification remains valid, international transport.
